Welcome to Core K9 Dog Training. By using our website, contacting us, scheduling services, or purchasing services from Core K9 Dog Training (“Core K9,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Please read these terms carefully before using our website or booking our services.

1. Our Services

Core K9 provides dog training and behavior-related services designed to help owners better understand, communicate with, and train their dogs.

Our services may include private training, puppy training, behavior modification, obedience training, consultations, and other dog-training services described on our website or provided directly by Core K9.

Training recommendations are based on the information available to us and the individual circumstances of each dog and household.

2. No Guaranteed Results

Every dog is different, and training results depend on many factors, including the dog's temperament, history, environment, health, genetics, consistency of training, and the owner's participation.

Because of these factors, Core K9 does not guarantee any particular training or behavioral outcome.

Successful training requires ongoing participation and practice outside of scheduled training sessions.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their dog, including any known:

Aggression or bite history
Fear or anxiety
Reactivity
Medical conditions
Injuries or physical limitations
Behavioral concerns
Previous training or behavior-modification programs
Known triggers or situations that may create a safety risk

Clients must inform Core K9 of any changes in their dog's health, behavior, environment, or circumstances that could affect training or safety.

Clients are also responsible for following training instructions and practicing recommended exercises between sessions.

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in Core K9 modifying, postponing, or discontinuing services.

4. Safety

Working with animals involves inherent risks. Dogs may behave unpredictably, particularly when exposed to unfamiliar people, animals, environments, equipment, or situations.

For the safety of clients, trainers, dogs, and members of the public, Core K9 reserves the right to modify, postpone, relocate, or discontinue a training session when we reasonably believe that a situation presents an unacceptable safety risk.

This may include situations involving aggression, illness, injury, extreme fear, unsafe environments, or other circumstances that could place a person or animal at risk.

Clients are responsible for maintaining appropriate control of their dog during training sessions and for following reasonable safety instructions provided by Core K9.

5. Veterinary Care

Core K9 provides dog-training services and does not provide veterinary, medical, or emergency-care services.

Training and behavioral recommendations are not intended to replace advice from a licensed veterinarian or qualified veterinary behavior professional.

If we believe a medical condition may be contributing to a dog's behavior, we may recommend that the client consult a veterinarian or other appropriate professional.

Clients are responsible for obtaining appropriate veterinary care for their dogs.

6. Appointments and Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled based on availability.

Clients are expected to arrive on time and be prepared for scheduled training sessions.

If a client arrives late, the session may still end at the originally scheduled time.

Core K9 may need to reschedule an appointment due to illness, weather, emergencies, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please provide [24/48] hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than the required notice may be subject to a [$XX] cancellation fee or loss of the applicable session.

No-show appointments may be charged at the full session rate.

Exceptions may be made at Core K9's discretion for genuine emergencies or other circumstances.

Important: Core K9's current cancellation and refund policy should be communicated clearly to clients before they book or pay for services.

8. Payments and Fees

Payment is due according to the pricing and payment terms communicated at the time of booking or purchase.

All applicable service prices, required fees, and payment terms will be communicated to the client before payment is requested.

Core K9 reserves the right to update pricing for future services. Price changes will not affect services that have already been purchased unless otherwise agreed with the client.

If a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or otherwise not successfully completed, the client remains responsible for any amount properly owed for services provided.

9. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the refund policy communicated at the time of purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, fees for services that have already been provided are non-refundable.

If a client purchases a package or prepaid training program, any applicable expiration dates, cancellation terms, and refund conditions will be communicated before purchase.

10. Packages and Training Programs

If Core K9 offers multi-session packages or training programs, the specific terms of that package or program—including price, number of sessions, expiration period, scheduling requirements, and cancellation or refund terms—will be provided to the client before purchase.

Package sessions may not be transferable unless Core K9 agrees otherwise in writing.

11. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date.

However, website content is provided for general informational purposes and may change without notice.

We do not guarantee that all website content will always be complete, current, or error-free.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website—including text, photographs, graphics, logos, branding, videos, and other materials—is owned by or licensed to Core K9 Dog Training and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Core K9 will not assume that permission has been granted merely because you participate in a training session.

Any separate photo, video, or testimonial release provided by Core K9 will control the permitted use of that content.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.

A separate client agreement, assumption-of-risk acknowledgment, or liability waiver may apply to certain Core K9 services.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your violation of these Terms & Conditions, your misuse of our website, or your failure to provide accurate information about your dog or comply with reasonable safety instructions.

This provision does not apply to the extent that applicable law prohibits such an obligation.

If there is a conflict between these Terms & Conditions and a separate written client agreement, the terms of the specific client agreement will control for that service.
